Description

Deeply textured burnt wood face grain has been hand embossed onto Willowcreek handmade watercolor paper. This image has been finished with applications of sumi ink, acrylic and charcoal, and protected with layered coats of UV resistant acrylic spray.
Wall’s burnt wood prints are inspired by the blackened charred boards cladding the exteriors of Japanese buildings (Yakisugi, and by burned wood from northern California wildfires.
