This large-format soft-cover book was written by the master’s only pupil, Chris van Otterloo who lived in Japan for many years. To accompany the launching of this beautiful monograph, an exhibition was organized and shown in a museum in Leiden, Netherlands. This volume includes a thoughtful description of the artist’s life and artworks. 130 etchings are included which captures the broad range of Mr. Tanaka’s work.
