Description

Aizu was Mr. Saito’s home village. He did many images of the town in various seasons, but it is the Winter series which have been most highly sought after. Note this early print was created in a very small edition. The design is striking and dynamic. The title is not written on this print but is well documented in catalogs of the artist’s work. I find this early composition spectacular, partly because it is not as linear as most in the series.
