A spectacular image of the famous Kyoto sight. I find it interesting that Nakayama chose to depict the Golden Pavilion in brown inks rather than with the gold leaf which is limited to the background and the girl’s hair and blouse. Note the subtle butterfly pattern top left in the red and gold leaf background. Truly one of his best designs.
