Sold conservation framed to 40.5" x 56"

One of Daniel’s most significant prints depicting bowls. “Momo” means “Peach” in Japanese–note the design on the side of the bowl. A print of this image is included in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Description

This print has been framed floating on a blue-gray linen fabric, with the same material used as a mat, elevated from the backing. The frame is a wood moulding with a reddish-brown surface color and dark brown on the sides. It is one inch wide and two inches deep. The cool color of the matting makes a nice complement to the print done with warm colors on a heavy handmade paper. Plexiglas glazing makes the entire package relatively light in weight.
