Description

One of the few toku oban double sized prints done by Hasui. It was actually done in two versions–this with a bluish cast to the snow, and another more lavender version.  The woman and child add a warm touch to the cold scene.  Note the striking, soft bokashi (gradations) in the sky on either side of Fuji.
