Joruri is a Kyoto temple famous for its gardens. I believe Clif erred in titling this print Jorurni. Here the artist has chosen to show a neighboring hill as seen through the cluster of ripening persimmons. I particularly like the bokashi gradations in the sky, from a deep plum to a paler blue.
