Very subtle underprinting of silver in the tunic of one puppet. Complex and detailed designs in tunics and headgear. Note the very delicate red lines on the puppet fingers, and soft bokashi gradations in the fabric of his robe.

Chinese Puppets. Miles Catalog No. 18 Incredible details in the puppets’ clothing, hats and mask. Even their fingernails are colored red. Design required a very complex printing sequence with metallics over and under other inks.
