This diptych represents the Korean Conflict, and portrays Jacoulet’s sympathies for the South. Dedicated to President Truman. Catalog #’s 111 and 112. The Two Adversaries, Korea–Left and Right. Gauffrage on bird feathers, gold and silver leaf flecks. Delicate bokashi gradations.
