Hiroshige made several different series called The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido (the main road between Kyoto and Tokyo). This one was done in a smaller chuban format between 1840 and 1842. A comic poem is included on each of the fifty-six prints in the series, so it is generally known as the Kyoka Tokaido. This one is No. 22 Okabe: View of Mount Utsu (Okabe, Utsu no yama no zu)
