This book won given a Finalist Award from the Indie Book Awards. It is a beautifully written description of the artist’s life as a marine biologist, an academic and a gyotaku fishprinting artist. Included are anecdotes from his many travels and fishing trips., as well as photos and many of his artistic prints. There is even a marvelous short story about a boat seen from Salt Point in Sonoma County.
